1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is ODDI minds SARL, trading as RC Motorsports, 12 Khalid Ibn El Oualid, 90000 Tangier, Morocco. You can reach us at info@rc-motorsports.com or +212 612-199491.

We process personal data in accordance with Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, under the supervision of the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP).

2. What we collect, and why

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal data. Please do not send it to us.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the companies that make the shop work, and only with what they need:

  • Shopify — hosts the store and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Our delivery carrier — receives your name, address and phone number so your parcel can reach you.
  • Our bank — for payments and refunds.
  • Our accountant and, where legally required, the tax authorities — for invoices and bookkeeping.
  • Meta and Google — we use their advertising and measurement tools on this site. These tools set cookies and can link your visit to your account with those companies. They only run if you accept marketing cookies in our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent, trade or otherwise transfer your details to anyone for their own marketing.

4. Data stored outside Morocco

Shopify, Meta and Google store data on servers outside Morocco. Where Moroccan law requires authorisation from the CNDP for transferring personal data abroad, we obtain it, and we use providers who commit contractually to protecting your data to an equivalent standard.

5. Cookies

We use two kinds of cookie:

  • Necessary cookies keep your cart and your login working. The site cannot function without them, so they are always on.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies tell us how the shop is used and let us advertise. These are off until you turn them on. You choose when the cookie banner appears on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time from the banner link at the foot of the page.

Refusing analytics and advertising cookies does not stop you from browsing or ordering, and it makes no difference to prices or delivery.

6. How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice records: ten years, which is the retention period Moroccan commercial and tax law requires of us.
  • Account details: for as long as your account is open. Close it and we delete it, apart from what we must keep under the line above.
  • Customer service messages: three years after our last exchange.
  • Marketing consent and cookie data: until you withdraw consent, and in no case longer than thirteen months for cookies.

7. Your rights

Under Law 09-08 you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data deleted, where we are not required to keep it;
  • object to your data being used for marketing — always, and without giving a reason;
  • withdraw a consent you have given, at any time, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email info@rc-motorsports.com. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand your data to someone else — we will only ask for what is needed to be sure it is you.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain directly to the CNDP, the Moroccan data protection authority, at www.cndp.ma.

9. Children

Accounts and orders are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data about children. If a child has given us their details, a parent or guardian can email us and we will delete them.

10. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection, and access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us bank details, passwords or identity documents by email.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell customers by email.
