Returns and Refunds
This policy explains two separate things: the right to cancel that Moroccan law gives you, and the wider returns policy we offer on top of it. Where they differ, whichever is better for you is what applies.
1. Your legal right to cancel (7 days)
Under Moroccan consumer protection law (Loi 31-08), you may cancel a distance purchase within 7 days of receiving it. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no penalty.
- You may unpack the item and examine it, as you would in a shop. Examining it does not cost you this right.
- To cancel, email info@rc-motorsports.com with your order number and tell us you are cancelling. That is all that is required — you do not need our permission or a reference number.
- We refund the total amount you paid, including the original delivery charge.
- You pay the cost of sending the item back to us.
- We refund you within 15 days of receiving your cancellation notice. We may wait until the item reaches us, or until you send us proof that you have dispatched it, whichever happens first.
The only items this right does not cover are goods made or customised to your specification. Discounted and sale items are covered in full.
2. Our 14-day returns policy
Beyond the legal 7 days, we accept returns for any reason within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, complete, and in its original packaging with all manuals and accessories.
- You pay return shipping.
- On returns made under this policy — rather than under your legal right to cancel above — we refund the price of the goods but not the original delivery charge.
- We do not charge restocking fees. If an item comes back showing signs of use or damage, we will contact you before deducting anything, and we will tell you exactly what we are deducting and why.
Gift cards and customised or modified items cannot be returned under this policy.
3. How to send something back
- Email info@rc-motorsports.com with your order number.
- Pack the item securely, with its accessories and manuals.
- Send it to: RC Motorsports (ODDI minds SARL), 12 Khalid Ibn El Oualid, 90000 Tangier, Morocco.
- Use a trackable service and keep the receipt. Until the parcel reaches us it is your proof of return.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds are made by bank transfer to the account the payment came from. If that is not possible, we will agree an alternative with you in writing. Once we send the transfer, your bank may take a further 3–5 business days to show it.
5. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
These are not returns, and none of the conditions above apply to them.
- Damaged in transit, or the wrong item: tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs if you can. We arrange collection at our cost and send a replacement or a full refund, as you prefer.
- Faulty in use: if a product develops a fault caused by a defect in materials or manufacture, you are protected by the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Moroccan law, which runs for one year from delivery. Contact us and we will repair, replace, or refund. Return shipping is on us.
- If a repair fails twice for the same fault, you may have a full refund or a new replacement, at your choice.
The legal guarantee covers defects. It does not cover crash damage, normal wear on consumable parts (tyres, gears, bearings, brushes, driveshafts), water damage, damage from over-discharging or incorrectly charging batteries, or damage caused by modification, tuning or racing.
6. Manufacturer warranty
Traxxas' own warranty programme is operated for the United States market and is not available to customers buying in Morocco. We say this plainly so that nobody buys expecting cover that does not exist here. Your protection is the legal guarantee described in section 5, which we honour directly.
